The Jubail Industrial District is one of the world's major petrochemical production bases, with an annual output of approximately 60 million tons of petrochemical products, accounting for 6% to 8% of global total production. The district locates numerous large-scale petrochemical enterprises and projects. Tasnee is also located in the Jubail Industrial District, with a butyl acrylate production capacity of 200,000 tons, accounting for 9% of overseas production capacity (excluding China).
