According to Bloomberg, Asian LNG spot demand has strengthened due to shipping disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. Last week, a total of 19 US LNG tankers traversed major routes, an increase of 7 vessels from the previous week. Among them, 15 LNG carriers rounded the Cape of Good Hope, while 3 transited the Suez Canal, likely bound for Egypt and Jordan; another vessel passed through the Panama Canal.
