The following chart is Ethylene price in East China. Red line is the price of 2026, the blue one is that of 2025, and the grey one is that of 2024. Last week we successfully expected the price rose. There is still room for the price of Ethylene to rise.
Ethylene recent price (the 10th week of 2026) is ￥7050.
There are two reasons results in the expected price change.
First reason is the rise in WTI prices. The following chart is WTI price. Red line is the price of 2026, the blue one is that of 2025, and the grey one is that of 2024.
Second reason is geopolitical factors have disrupted the supply of naphtha.
