1. Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Store separately from oxidants and acids, and avoid mixing. Equip with firefighting equipment of corresponding types and quantities. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and appropriate containment materials. Due to its strong hygroscopicity, it should be stored in a sealed container, and nitrogen should be used for long-term storage. It can be stored in iron, mild steel, copper or aluminum containers. However, it is advisable to use coated steel, aluminum or stainless steel containers for long-term storage.
2. The word "toxic" should be marked on the ethylene glycol container to prevent accidental ingestion and inhalation of ethylene glycol vapor. Operators should wear protective equipment and undergo regular physical examinations, especially routine urine examinations.
